Tottering league clubs in the Glo Premier league have adopted a wait-and-see attitude before taking any major decision on the technical side. Jamil Maraby, CEO of Sekondi Eleven Wise said there is no need to panic even though his side occupy third from bottom position with four points out of a possible 15. He told Joy Sports’ Nathaniel Attoh that management is not happy with the position of the club, and will be looking forward to the next few games in order to make a thorough assessment of the team. He is reluctant to put the blame on the technical handlers- CK Akunnor and Odartey Lamptey for the team’s poor showing, explaining they need some few matches to get their grooves on. Maraby however believes poor officiating, especially during away matches has hampered his team’s performance. Jerome Okyere, a journalist with the official mouthpiece of Kumasi Asante Kotoko said the newly appointed head coach, Paa Kwesi Faibin has five more games to redeem his image or may face the wrath of the management. The former Heart of Lions head coach, and the reigning coach of the year is yet to make any impact with the Porcupine Warriors, having amassed six points from a possible 12. The league which is just five weeks old has an unusual contender in Kessben FC occupying the top of the league. Defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak are eighth on the league chart.
