Serbia midfielder Dejan Stankovic says his team has done its homework on Ghana, their opening day opponents.
Both sides head into their high-altitude World Cup match in Pretoria on Sunday with Milovan Rajevac, a former Red Star Belgrade defender but now Ghana coach.
Also Stankovic would reunite with Inter Milan teammate, Sulley Muntari.
Despite a solid performance in qualifying for the World Cup, the Serbs have underperformed in pre-tournament friendlies but Stankovic believes they have a good measure of the Ghana team.
“We’ve familiarized ourselves with Ghana,” Stankovic said Friday.
“We’ve watched them a lot. We will be looking to exploit their weaknesses.”
