Management of Bibiani Gold Stars are dejected at the Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association for not being fair to them.
The division one side were handed a ban of ten home matches as well as a fine of 15,000 Ghana cedis for beating a referee in their clash with Elmina Sharks on match day three and are yet to get a verdict on their appeal.
Gold Stars appealed the ban about eight weeks ago and the CEO of the club Kwesi Adu is unhappy with the injustice of the Appeals Committee lamenting that their fellow local Club Hearts of Oak received their verdict within a week.
“We believe there are some injustices going on in our FA, because our seniors Accra Hearts of Oak just appealed just under ten days and their verdict is out,” he told Joy Sports.
“We were to appeal within 72 hours which Gold Stars did within 16 hours, Gold Stars have not received any notification from the FA and
Appeals Committee as to when the Appeals verdict is coming out”.
“Out of the ten matches we have served four out of this ban”.
