Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei has noted that he was not expecting to lose their match-day 14 Ghana Premier League game with Wa All Stars on Wednesday.
All Stars scored the only goal of the game through Richard Arthur’s sublime finish in the first half.
Kotoko by virtue of the result missed the chance to go top of the league but All Stars moved top of the table with better goal difference ahead of Hearts who plays Liberty on Thursday.
“I think it was very unfortunate we conceded that early goal- I expected us to react quickly but things just didn’t go as planned.
“We would have to forget about this and look forward to the Techiman City game on Sunday.”
Kotoko drop to 4th on the league log.
