Ghana won its first gold medal on the final day of the African Senior Championships in South African.
Triple jumper Nadia Eke won Gold with a leap of 13.42m.
On another positive note, John Ampomah won silver in javelin throwing a reach of 75m
The duo capped off a good performance by team Ghana who placed 7th in overall rankings after winning total number of 6 medals (1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze )
Team Ghana will arrive in the country on Tuesday evening at 16:30 GMT.
