Speaking to the GNA El-Hadj Falilou Bah described the late Madam Fathia as the Mother of African liberation as her personal support and contribution behind the corridors of power impacted positively on the liberation movement.
He said: "The death of Madam Fathia on the eve of Ghana hosting the Ninth African Union Summit, President John Agyekum Kufuor's chairmanship of the continental body and within the Golden Jubilee celebration was very historic and significant and calls for sober reflection.”
"It should stir our current crop of leadership up as we meet in Ghana to move forward with the AU agenda for the total recognition of the black man and African continent.”
