President John Evans Atta Mills leaves Accra today, Sunday, November 28, 2010, for Tripoli, Libya, to attend the 3rd Africa-European Union (EU) Summit which takes place between November 28, 2010 and December 01, 2010.
Gathering under the theme b>Investment, Economic Growth and Job Creation”, President Mills will join colleague Heads of State to deliberate on issues relating to peace and security, democratic governance, human rights, climate change, regional integration, private sector development, infrastructure expansion, energy, migration, and importantly, agriculture and food security.
A statement issued by Koku Anyidoho, Head, Communications at the Presidency, said it is anticipated that the 3rd Africa-EU Summit will adopt the Second Action Plan (2011-13) of the Joint Africa-EU Strategy.
President Atta Mills is expected back in Accra on Wednesday, December 01, 2010 and will be the Special Guest at the 26th National Farmers Day to be held at Yilo Krobo on Friday, December 03, 2010.
