Liberty Professionals assistant coach Felix Aboagye has revealed management has promised to settle the salaries of players by Wednesday.
The players last week boycotted training in protest of their monies- a situation which had to be rectified just two days before their game against All Stars.
Liberty are part of as many as eight teams battling to escape relegation and Felix Aboagye believes if management fulfill their promise they will stay in the league.
“We were promised that by Wednesday all our arrears will be cleared so the players are rest assured and hopefully if that is done the players can concentrate on their game and we will go to Inter Allies and get a good result,” he said
“When there are side issues in football, sometimes it really affects the players, the bonuses and salaries were not coming, and as you heard they went on strike and hopefully if these things are done we can continue with our game.”
