Aduana Stars have threatened legal action against new Hearts signing Malik Akowuah after they alleged he had taken money from the Dormaa outfit.
The midfielder’s move from Medeama to Hearts has not been without drama as the Tarkwa side believe the Phobians did not go through the right process to acquire his signature.
But in a latest twist, Aduana have also claimed Akowuah took money from them before signing from Hearts.
Chief Executive of Aduana, Albert Commey, is displeased with his actions and is threatening legal action.
“Malik had some difficulties and we helped him so we gave him a cheque of money which was not meant for transportation.” Albert Commey told Asempa FM
“I have heard him saying that money was just for transportation. I want to say it is big lie and the only thing I will say is, he should refund our money or we take a legal action against him because we can arrest him at any time,” he added.
