Black Princess suffered the ignominy of another late goal as they dropped two vital points to France in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The game is the second time the Princess have conceded in the dying minutes after going down to New Zealand on Monday.
This time round, Ghana were able to grab a point but in the overall context, their chances of progressing are bleak.
The French took the lead through Delphine Cascarino but they were immediately pegged back by Sandra Owusu Ansah who finished with aplomb to end the first half level.
Her strike partner Janet Ayieyam gave the Princesses the lead after 65 minutes after she toe-poked the ball into the net after calamitous defending by the French.
The Black Princesses should have wrapped up the three points through the spot but Samira Abdul Rahman shot feebly into the hands of the French keeper.
The miss spurred the French on and were duly rewarded when Clara Mateo snatched the leveler with a fine header.
