Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Jingak Chung, Managing Director of Samsung Electronics, said “Our aim is to work towards a good cause while ensuring our customers feel a part of it and proud to own a Samsung. One of the company's key values is co-prosperity being that Samsung is a socially responsible corporate citizen.”
“In light of this, during this Easter period through to 1st May Samsung will be partnering with Operation Smile Ghana to support them carry around a number of surgeries for children living with a cleft,” Tracy Kyei, Marketing Manager at Samsung stated in a statement.
