The Ewit Greenwich Classical Academy1998 year group has donated a multi-purpose photocopier, accessories and varieties of books worth ¢10,000 to their alma mater after a short ceremony on the school’s Dansoman premise.
The gesture by the group is their way of showing appreciation to the school and to instil the love of the school into the current students.
The office equipment which included a printer, a scanner and five boxes of A4 sheets are to facilitate the smooth administrative work while books will enhance effective teaching and learning in the school.
The ceremony which turned out to be a homecoming as the old students danced and sang songs from during their school days to entertain current students.
The 1998 year group also presented awards to outstanding and long serving teachers, staff as well as students who have distinguished themselves.
They also cut a cake and popped champagne in celebration of their 20th year anniversary.
Speaking during the presentation the president of the group Asamoah Bediako charged the students to learn hard so they can actualise their dreams.
