Head of Communications at Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah has rubbished assumptions that Shatta Wale is treated preferentially to the detriment of his rival Stonebwoy.
The suggestion that Stonebwoy is constantly maligned by some people at Zylofon Media, a label he signed to for three years, resurfaced after his intent to surprise his label mate Shatta Wale at his album launch was stalled by Artiste and Repertoire Manager, Lawrence Hanson Asiamah who cited security reason.
Prior to that, Lawrence Hanson Asiamah known, also known as Bulldog, had a fracas with Stonebwoy and team at Paloma Hotel which resulted in firing of guns and juries.
The dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has also been attacked on countless occasion by Willie Roi, another member of Zylofon media, who professed his bias for Shatta openly on radio and social media.
These instances stated according to Samuel Atuobi Baah, also known as Sammy Flex, aren’t good enough premise to conclude that Stonebwoy has not been treated fairly by the fraternity.
“It is not true. It is about the different characters we are dealing with. One is an introvert and the other is an extrovert. Stonebwoy has a way of doing his things same as Shatta. Shatta wants everything around him to be noisy, Stonebwoy can come in here, decide to just sneak in with nobody seeing him…We treat everybody equally.”
“How can you invest in an artiste and hate the artiste at the same time, it is not possible. How can you invest in a product and pray and wish for the downfall of the product, nobody in their right thinking will do this.”
