The CEO of The Community Hospitals (TCH) Group, Alexander Akwasi Acquah, has presented 300 banquet chairs valued at Ȼ32,000 to the Akim Oda Central Assembly of the Christ Apostolic Church International.
This was in fulfillment of a pledge he made to the church, a couple of months ago when the central assembly’s building was dedicated.
The 400-seater-capacity Temple was named after one of the church’s leaders: Apostle Owiredu.
Presenting the Chairs during the service on resurrection Sunday, Mr. Akwasi Acquah said he couldn't find any better moment to redeem his pledge to the church, than a period where Christ sacrificed his life for humanity.

He said the sacrifices of Jesus Christ to humanity, is what motivates him to give. He charged Christians to make offering, adding it is a regular conduit for supernatural blessings from God.
"If you always consider your current situation before you think about giving to the society, you will always be discouraged,” Mr. Acquah said he felt fulfilled for honouring his pledge.
The Area Head of the Church, Rev. Emmanuel Ohene Fenteng, received the chairs and led the whole church to pray for the business success of Mr. Acquah as well as other aspirations in life.
In attendance at the service was the Krontihene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Area, Obrempong Gyamfi Saforo Kyere II, who also commended Akwasi Acquah for his numerous social intervention programmes in the traditional area.
He particularly mentioned the free screening exercises currently going on in all the electoral areas in the Birim Central Municipality. He charged Mr. Acquah not to get discouraged since he will be honoured by the people in due course.
