Dr Gideon Boako, a financial economist, has significant experience from the academia and public policy background, and has also played a prominent role in shaping financial discourse in the country.
As a former adiver and spokesperson to former Vice president Bawumia on economic matters, he has been instrumental in analysing government policies and their implications for the broader economy.
His deep understanding of macroeconomic trends and fiscal sustainability will be vital in holding the government accountable and proposing alternative policy measures.
With these two leading the Minority’s finance team, debates on economic policies and fiscal governance are expected to become more rigorous.
