Ghana striker Matthew Amoah regained his scoring touch on Friday even though his club NAC Breda lost 3-1 to struggling Feyenoord. Feyenoord ended a run of three straight defeats in style to deliver another blow to NAC 's Eredivisie title hopes. Leroy Fer grabbed a brace after Diego Biseswar had opened the scoring as the hosts opened up a seven-point cushion over the bottom three. Amoah was on target for the visitors four minutes from time, but it was not enough to prevent them from slipping to a fourth defeat in their last five games. The Ghanaian returned to action last week after a hamstring injury last month bumped his impressive scoring record for his club this season. Fifth-placed NAC could now find themselves 12 points adrift of league leaders AZ Alkmaar going in to the winter break should Louis van Gaal's men beat NEC Nijmegen on Sunday. Feyenoord controlled possession in the early stages, but could not find the killer pass as NAC stopper Jelle ten Rouwelaar went largely untroubled. Biseswar, though, broke the deadlock out of the blue in the 33rd minute, the forward marking his return from injury with a fine long-range strike. Biseswar then saw an effort come off the crossbar as the home side threatened to move further ahead, and they did double their advantage a minute before the break through Fer's header. Feyenoord went in search of the killer third goal in the second half and 18-year-old midfielder Fer got it in the 62nd minute to settle the contest - the 14th goal NAC have conceded in their last five outings.
