Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has admitted that the Black Stars have drawn the most difficult and competitive group in the 2014 World Cup finals.
He however added that they are prepared to face any of the teams in their group, which pundits say is the 'group of death'.
Ghana has drawn Germany, Portugal and USA in Brazil 2014, opening with a match against the USA at the Arena das Dunas in Natal, in what could be termed a Group of Death.
"Ghana's group is the toughest. It is the group of death," Gyan said on Asempa FM Sports shortly after the draw on Friday.
"But we have a good team to compete with any team. There is no need to fear Germany or Portugal or even the USA. Ghanaians should relax, we'll qualify from the group and make Ghana proud again."
"There is teamwork and coordination amongst us [Black Stars] so we'll work hard and do well at the World Cup."
After playing against USA in the opening game on June 16, the Black Stars of Ghana will lock horns against Germany in the second group game at Estádio Castelão in Fortaleza on June 21, before wrapping up the group against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal on 26th June at Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha, Brasília.
In the 2010 World Cup, Ghana advanced from a group that comprised Germany, Australia and Serbia, and defeated USA at the knock out round of the competition.
