Head Coach of BA Stars Karim Zito has abandoned his post after failing to mastermind the club’s revival in the Glo Premier League.
The coach left the club after Sunday’s disappointing 2-0 home loss to Liberty Professionals at the Len Clay stadium.
Assistant Coach Nana Adarkwa will take charge of the team when BA Stars play Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Stadium Wednesday.
BA Stars are languishing at the bottom of the log sheet after winning just four matches in the 18-week-old Premier League.
Founder of the club, Tony Bernette is disappointed at the departure of Karim Zito.
He said he woke up Tuesday morning to find out that the coach had packed and left his residency without a word.
Mr Bernette believes he deserved at least an explanation from Mr Zito.
