Beyonce has been enjoying her 30th birthday with style and a few good friends.
The mommy-to-be arrived in Venice, Italy over the weekend to celebrate her big 3-0 with husband Jay-Z, 41. The two were spotted having dinner at a well-known hotspot in the city on Sunday, reports People.
According to The Daily Mail, Jay and Beyonce boarded a luxury yacht while overseas, and the couple's pal Gwyneth Paltrow joined in the fun. Herself a mom of two, Paltrow was in town to promote her film "Contagion" at the Venice Film Festival. The guest list didn't end there, however: Singer Erykah Badu was on deck as well.
Gwyn and B (as we imagine their pet names for each other might be) have been BFFs for a while and the pair socialize quite a bit together along with their spouses (Paltrow is married to Coldplay front man Chris Martin.) Beyonce recently told Harper's Bazaar that she aspires to be like her Oscar-winning friend.
"You go to her house and she makes you feel like you never want to go home," Beyonce said. "She is what I strive to be one day."
The "Love On Top" songstress announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards in late August - a surprise that she hinted at during her interview with Piers Morgan in June.
"I always said I'd have a baby at 30," Beyonce said at the time. "I'm 29. But I also said I was going to retire at 30. I'm not retiring."
