Takoradi Technical University successfully outclassed the other five schools competing in the maiden season of the 'Big Chef Tertiary'.
Episode 3 saw the judges for the season, Chef Sam and Chef Tracy task the contestants to prepare a full meal with ingredients on their mystery board.
The 18 contestants were given sixty minutes to chef things up in the kitchen and present their meals.
The secret ingredients provided by the judges for this week’s task were fortune rice and chicken breast. They were asked to make “Chicken Kiev” with the chicken breast provided them.
As usual, the contestants were given 5 minutes to visit the open market for more ingredients.
Once the time to shop at the open market was up, contestants were directed to their post to start preparing their meals.
After 60 minutes, Chef Sam halted all movements in the kitchen and asked each school to present their meal.
At the end of the episode, representatives from the Takoradi Technical University, Vera, Jemilatu, and Naomi surpassed the other five schools by blowing the minds of the judges away with their meal.
They were filled with joy as they were able to beat Ho technical University (winners of episode two) for the star of the day position.
The contestants from Koforidua Technical University, Kumasi Technical University, Accra Technical University, Ho Technical University and Cape Coast, were also applauded by the judges for the effort they put into executing their tasks.
Chef Sam and Chef Tracy encouraged them to continue putting in the hard work and keep being innovative and creative with their recipes.
