This Saturday, 21st March 2026, Joy Prime’s flagship current affairs programme, Prime Insight, will dive into two of the most pressing economic and regulatory issues facing the country: the third round of SIM card registration and the volatile increase in fuel pump prices.

Starting at 7:00 am, host Blessed Sogah will lead a panel to discuss the national SIM registration exercise and the public anxiety over the global crude crisis.
Probing the SIM registration deadlock
With the country entering a third round of SIM card registration, the programme aims to probe the never-ending challenge that has left many citizens frustrated.
The discussion is expected to touch on infrastructure hurdles, data security and inclusivity.
Fuel price hikes and the Minority’s call for relief
In the second segment, the panel will address the global crude crisis and the subsequent pump price Increase. Following recent spikes at the pumps, the Minority in Parliament has intensified calls for government relief to cushion the effect on the average Ghanaian.
