Ghana international Jennifer Cudjoe has signed for US-based side Brooklyn Football Club for the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season.
The Black Queens midfielder was officially announced on Wednesday, November 5, a week after helping the national team to qualify for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Jennifer joins Brooklyn FC from DC Power United, where she spent a season during the 2024/25 campaign.
The 31-year-old's arrival at her new club is pending league and federation approval.
The former Hasaacas Ladies midfielder is in line for her first appearance for the club on November 8 when Brooklyn FC hosts DC Power FC at Maimonides Park.
"Jennifer is an experienced player and a true leader. Her composure, professionalism, and passion for the game will make a huge impact on our group," said Brooklyn sporting director Kevin Tenjo.
Reacting to the news of completing the move, Jennifer added, "Brooklyn is building something truly new and ambitious in American soccer, and I’m excited to be part of it."
Jennifer was an integral part of the Black Queens squad at the 2024 WAFCON, where the team won a bronze medal after beating South Africa on penalties.
She also played a pivotal role in Ghana securing qualification to next year's tournament with two assists in the 7-0 aggregate win over Egypt.
