Former Ghana striker Augustine Arhinful says Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah must employ "time-wasting" tactics in order to reduce the time available for the Egyptians to score.
Egypt must overturn a 6-1 deficit in order to advance to the World Cup ahead of Ghana at the Air defense stadium in Cairo on Tuesday in the return leg fixture of the final FIFA World Cup play-off game.
Arhinful claims Kwesi Appiah must frustrate the Egyptians by delaying and constantly breaking the rhythm of the match, which will suit the Black Stars.
"We have not officially qualified yet. So we have to finish the business off in Cairo. We should employ a delay tactics to frustrate the Egyptians. We should not be in a hurry to take free kicks and throw ins," Arhinful said on Asempa FM.
"We shouldn't fancy good football because the job now is to qualify and we must use all sort of means to advance".
Ghana is favoured to pick up African's fourth slot for the finals.
