The Physical Trainer of Ghana's Black Stars, Romeo Ricky Roy is reported dead.
Details of his passing are scanty, but it's understood he died Sunday, April 28, in Accra, after complaining that he was unwell.
Roy, who became internet sensation in 2020 for saving the life of a player during a Division One League match between Vision FC and Agbozume Weavers joined the Black Stars backroom staff in 2021.
Until his demise, he worked with Milovan Rajevac during his second tenure in charge of the senior national, before supervising the physical training sessions of the team in Qatar during the Word Cup 2022, and AFCON 2023 in Abidjan.
