Ghana international Isaac Boakye has ended his stay at Nurenburg after asking the German side to cancel his contract.
Nurenburg today confirmed cancelling the 29 year-old strikers contract.
"At the request of Isaac Boakye, the contract with Nurenberg was dissolved on Saturday 18th December," a short club statement read.
Boakye thus leaves Nurenburg six months before his original deal was due to expire.
The striker has only been used in two matches this season in the Bundesliga.
