Bukom Banku says he will stop his Namibian opponent, Vikapita Meroro by the eighth round in Saturday’s WBO Africa light middleweight title defence at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Banku and the other boxers on the bill had their weigh-in Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium and all is set for the night.
Banku knows victory against Meroro will set the stage for a major world title bout.
Another attraction on the bill is the IBF Intercontinental Welterweight championship bout between Ghana’s Joshua Okine, the Bukom Tsatsu and Sikhulule Sidzumo of South Africa.
