The Music Producer, Sam Sarfo Kantanka, busted on suspicion of drugs smuggling has pleaded with the court to jail him.
Sarfo Kantanka was in court on Friday to answer accusations of drug smuggling after he expelled 96 pellets of substances suspected to be cocaine.
He was arrested at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday en route to London.
Sarfo Kantanka, who represented himself at his court hearing, pleaded with the presiding judge, Charles Quist, to sentence him to jail because he has pleaded guilty.
The judge, however, declined his request because the court is yet to receive a Standard Board report on the substances although Narcotic Control Board officials have confirmed the substances to be cocaine.
The case has been adjourned to the 27 of May.
