Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed has jumped to the defence of Ghana U-20 coach Didi Dramani after the former Kotoko trainer was accused of sabotaging the club.
Dauda did not join Kotoko for their Premier League triumph over Bechem United in midweek after being kept in the Satellites camp.
This, according to Accra representative of Kotoko, Edmund Ackah, was termed as a calculated attempt by the head coach to sabotage his former club.
But Dauda has refuted such claims stating Didi Dramani tried his possible best to get him join the Porcupines.
“With the issues surrounding Kotoko and I, what I can say is that I wasn't at fault and it is not going to frustrate me in any way or bring pressure on me,” he told Adom FM Sports.
“What I want the club and the fans to understand is that, they should stop criticizing the coach because he wasn't the person who stopped me from coming because he did his possible best for me.”
“The coach did everything possible that I show up at the camp of Kotoko but it was rather the leaders of Kotoko who failed to put proper arrangement in place.”
Dauda’s comment will bring to an end the saga between Kotoko and their former coach.
