The Director General of the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, and 36 of his staff have been granted bail by the police after they carried out a demolition and arson on properties belonging to a private developer, Anainia International Limited.
The Atomic Energy Commission and the private developer are both laying claim to a 160 acre land.
On Tuesday morning, Prof. Akaho and his staff were expected to be arraigned before the Cocoa Affairs Court but the Police failed to turn up.
Legal Advisor to the Atomic Energy Commission, Margaret Ahiakele tells Joy News she is yet to find out what the Police intends to do next.
Joy FM has, however, learnt that the police is now preparing a docket on the case.
Meanwhile a group of workers and students at the Atomic Energy Commission this morning blocked sections of the Atomic Junction-Dome road in protest at the detention of their colleagues.
It took the intervention of the Kwabenya Police to disperse them to ease the traffic on the road.
