DJ Zinhle has finally opened up about the father of her child, rapper AKA, cheating with media personality Bonang Matheba.

Taking to her blog, Zinhle Jiyane wrote an entry about how she found out that Matheba and AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes had hooked up behind her back for five months.

This means AKA and Matheba carried on with their saucy dalliance while Jiyane was pregnant. Matheba was linked to D'Banj, and while dating him, she also juggled her affair with AKA.

Jiyane wrote that because of all the media attention Matheba and AKA were receiving she felt it was time to come clean about their affair.

"A week before our daughter was born, I found out about an affair between Kiernan (the father of my child) and Bonang Matheba. I also received confirmation of all rumours through an honest conversation which I had with Kiernan, who confirmed that the affair had been going on for over 5 months. I will always respect him for his honesty.

"I have dealt with this and found peace with his choice. After the release of our first statement regarding the separation I felt that there was no need to go into details about the reasons, however, after the continued public display of Kiernan and Bonang’s relationship as well as the commentary surrounding it,  it has become important for me to affirm my power as a women, my strength of character, my continued focus on my work and my commitment to being a positive role model," said Jiyane.

She continued that she would always respect AKA for being the father of her child, and their relationship would remain an honest and understanding one.

Jiyane added her main focus was her one month old daughter Kairo. She said she did not regret the choices she made in dating AKA.

"As I transition into a new phase of my life, navigating motherhood, work, family, friends. I want to look back at this moment and be proud of the choices I made as a role model not only for any women going through a hard time  but for my little Kairo who I hope will pull strength and find courage to choose herself and trust in her own power."

Matheba meanwhile has not said a word about dating AKA despite being spotted with him on several occasions. She has however teased her online followers with snaps of flowers from an anonymous lover. 'He strikes again'! Matheba would post.

Interestingly, after rumours of her affair with AKA went public, Matheba once more uploaded a pic of roses strapped to her back seat. Seemingly these were from AKA as the duo were spotted on a date in Cape Town where Matheba is based for her SABC 3 show, The Afternoon Express.

Their racy romance begun in Los Angeles, at the BET Awards and carried over to SA where they hooked up at the Durban July and Loerie Awards. Matheba previously dated DJ Euphonik, Slikour and moved onto D'Banj who publicly humiliated her by professing his love for his on and off billionaire heiress girlfriend on Instagram.
