In today’s Roads of Peril feature, we highlight the negative effect of the poor nature of the Kwabenya-Berekuso-Kitase stretch on healthcare delivery and education.
On the Kwabenya-Berekuso-Kitase stretch, pupils make their way to and from school along a dusty, pothole-ridden road.
Covering their faces with handkerchiefs has become part of the daily routine as every passing vehicle leaves behind a haze of dust that blurs visibility.
Beyond the classroom, the impact is evident at the Berekuso Health Centre, where health workers report increasing respiratory diseases. More in today’s episode of “Roads of Peril” by Pearl Ofori.
