It has been reported on several media platforms the Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom addressed a press conference a couple of days ago.
We would like to set the records straight on this matter.
First of all, Dr. Nduom has not addressed any press conference in Ghana in about four months now. One radio station even went further to report that Dr. Nduom claimed in the said press conference that the erstwhile NPP administration did better than the Mills Administration is currently doing.
It will rather be recalled that, Dr. Nduom acting in his capacity as Shadow Cabinet Minister of CPP on Finance and Economic planning, issued a press statement dubbed, “ECONOMIC GROWTH MUST REFLECT IN THE LIVING CONDITIONS OF GHANAIANS, NOT IN STATISTICS”.
This statement sought to state that Ghanaians are not feeling the Mills-Led NDC Administration’s much touted economic growth in their real life situations. The statement never at any point in time made reference to the erstwhile NPP administration nor compared the NPP to the NDC.
We would like to use this medium to make these facts clear to the media and the general public.
Thank you.
