World Map Records, an astute recording company, has fed thousands in the Ashaiman Municipality as part relief efforts targeted at people who may have challenges getting food following the lockdown imposed on Accra and other parts of the country over the coronavirus pandemic.
World Map Records also shared assorted items as well as cartons and sachets of water to some vulnerable persons who have been struggling due to lockdown imposed over two weeks ago.
Mr. Frank Gogo, Chief Executive of the World Map Group, in an interview said it is important for affluent persons to aid the government in feeding the poor as not all can benefit from free food programme by the government.
He said that the group would consider extending the project to some vulnerable areas as they look to feed more than 10, 000 people during this lockdown.
He urged the citizenry to abide by all directives given by health authorities to halt the spread of the deadly virus.
Some artistes signed under the World Map Records label K.K Fosu, Shotkode, among many others were present at the exercise.
