Ex Ghana President John Kufour is the latest amongst a host of high-level dignitaries to confirm his attendance to the Sammy Kuffour testimonial on Friday.
Kufour, 73, made the conformation when the ex Bayern Munich star paid a courtesy call on him at his residence in Accra on Tuesday.
“This is a befitting way to finish off such an illustrious career,” Kufour said.
“And God willing when the match is being played whether in Kumasi or Accra, I will be in attendance.”
This means, Ghana’s ex Presidents, Jerry Rawlings and John Kufour will be united alongside the Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II at the testimonial match at the Baba Yara Stadium where Sammy Kuffour will lead a host of international stars to battle the Black Stars.
