Former Ghanaian International and dribbling magician Mohammed Polo says the Ghana Football Association should exempt former players from acquiring license before they can coach any club or any of the National teams in Ghana.
The soccer professor told Sports Heroes on Asempa fm that these players have acquired lot of practical experience during their playing days which is enough to qualify them to coach.
The GFA had issued ultimatum to Ghanaian coaches to obtain CAF license ‘C’ by 2013 before they can coach in Ghana.
The soccer maestro says the standard of football in the country had gone down because “we don’t have good technical men to handle our teams”.
He says some of them have a lot of experience and should be given the opportunity to handle any of the national teams.
