Highlife artiste Fameye has officially parted ways with his former manager, Ogidi Brown and record label OGB Music.
In a press statement, the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker revealed that the separation followed after some consultations and agreement between himself and OGB Music.
“We have mutually agreed to part ways going forward but with continuous support for each other. The past years with OGB have been delightful, beneficial and I am glad we still hold our relationship regardless of our decision to part ways,” parts of the statement read.
Fameye and Ogidi Brown's label, OGB Music, signed a 5-year record label deal in 2018. The deal covered management and all music-related expenditures to be incurred during the period.

However, their relationship turned sour in 2020. And among other things, Fameye was accused of slapping his boss, Ogigi Brown.
There were also allegations that the singer had refused to refund some funds that the record label invested in him.
In December 2020, Ogidi Brown threatened to settle his feud with the artiste in a shrine.
He claimed that the singer had come to him numerous times with promises of payment whenever he threatened to take the issue to court.
Thus, he was tired of waiting for Fameye and hence decided to take him to the “antoa” shrine instead.
Meanwhile, in the press release, Fameye stated he was thankful and appreciative to Ogidi Brown and the entire management of OGB Music.
“The past years with OGB have been delightful, beneficial, and I am glad we still hold our relationship regardless of our decision to part ways,” he added.
