Savings and Loans Company, First Capital Plus has secured provisional license to operate as a commercial bank.
JOY-BUSINESS has learnt the approval was secured from the Bank of Ghana a few months ago.
The Bank is however required to demonstrate if it has the personnel, structures and the minimum capital within the next six months before its acquires a full license.
First Capital which began operations in 2009 and currently has about nine branches becomes the second indigenous non-bank institution granted universal bank license this year.
