First National Bank Ghana Limited has launched a pop quiz competition in collaboration with Accra-based Joy 99.7 FM.
The competition aims to reward loyal customers, impart and share knowledge as well as help the bank live up to its brand promise of HELP.
“We want to have very meaningful engagement with our customers and potential customers. We find the pop quiz very interesting and while we have fun, we also educate ourselves,” says First National Bank Ghana’s Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Delali Dzidzienyo.
The ultimate winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of ¢10,000. All other participants will receive exciting souvenirs from the bank.
The competition is open to customers of the bank and people with friends or family members who have accounts with First National Bank Ghana Limited.
Prospective participants will first need to answer trivia questions that will be posted on the bank’s Facebook page.
The first three people to correctly answer these trivia questions will move on to the next stage of the competition where they will be called on the phone to answer more questions on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, from Mondays to Thursdays.
“We want to go beyond placing radio ads and use the power of our combined channel i.e. social media and radio to be an engaging and relevant financial services provider,” Mr Dzidzienyo adds.
On Fridays, there will be a showdown between the victors from Monday to Thursday to decide on the weekly prize winners.
The weekly prize winners will then compete with each other in the grand finale, where the main winner of the competition will be awarded the cash prize of GH¢10,000.
According to Mr Dzidzienyo, “The value of knowledge is powerful. One of the attributes of the First National Bank brand is HELP. How do we empower our customers and radio listeners with a lifelong habit of learning.
“So this is fundamentally a knowledge-sharing exercise – where we test ourselves, have fun and learn at the same time. The Pop Quiz promises to be fun and interesting and we are sure listeners will be equally excited about this innovative campaign.”
The rules of the competition have been posted on First National Bank’s social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram.
