The Brong Ahafo Regional Police command has arrested 41 more people for alleged involvement in the mob lynching of the Goaso Government Hospital administrator, Anthony Yeboah-Boateng.The recent arrests comprise ten women and 21 men all from Ntrotronso near Goaso who were picked up on Tuesday.Earlier the police had arrested 16 people who were due for court on Wednesday.Regional Police Commander DCOP Kwaku Ayensu Opare-Addo says the police will continue to swoop on residences until all the perpetrators are arrested. He says those arrested so far will be screened to ascertain the extent of their involvement in the lynching.Anthony Yeboah Boateng was killed four-days ago when irate youth of Atronie, a village near Goaso who suspected him of being a serial killer.The Brong Ahafo Regional Minister Ignatius Baffour-Awuah says though calm has returned to the area, security has been stepped up to prevent any possible reprisals.Mr. Baffour-Awuah says the Regional Security Council is working closely with the police to bring the perpetrators to book.
