Ghana will present a ten-man team for the London 2012 Olympic Games which begin in 17 days time.
Aziz Zakari, Margaret Simpson, Ignatius Gaisah and Vida Anim are the four track and field athletes who managed to qualify.
They will be joined by four boxers; Isaac Dogbe (bantamweight), Duke Micah (flyweight), Suleimana Tetteh (light flyweight) and Maxwell Amponsah (heavyweight) who are currently in Cardiff for a pre-Games training and one judoka, Emmanuel Nartey and a female weightlifter, Alberta Ampomah.
The team is due in Plymouth on Tuesday to begin preparations for the multi-sports event which starts on July 27, 2012.
Ghana would be looking to improve its medal haul at the 30th Olympiad after a meager 4 medals since she first participated in 1952.
