1.    15 goals were scored on matchday 2.  Hence 30 goals have been scored in 15 matches of the Ghana Premier League. This gives an average of exactly 2 goals per game. Ashantigold’s outstanding game with Kotoko could increase the goal tally.

2.    The 4-2 game between Techiman City and Hasaacas is the highest scoring game of the season so far recording six goals.

3.    Hearts of Oak, Dreams FC and Wa All Stars are the team yet to concede in the Ghana Premier League. Incidentally, they are the only teams with a hundred per cent record to the start of the league.

4.    Dwarfs and Aduana Stars are the only teams yet to find the net after two matches.Kotoko have also failed to score but they have played only one game so far.

5.    Week 2 witnessed two away wins in the Ghana Premier. Hearts of Oak’s 2-0 win over Medeama and Wa All Star’s 1-0 win over Aduana Stars.

6.    Eric Kumi received the first red card of the Ghana Premier League after being sent off for two bookable offences.
