Hearts of Oak maintained their position at the top of the league table with a win over Hasaacas at a ban-enforced empty Accra Sports Stadium. Kotoko went away and defeated Bechem, who had yet to lose at home.
Aduana clocked their fifth straight win on the bounce while Wa All Stars slipped further with a home draw with WAFA.
HEARTS 1-0 HASAACAS
Winger Isaac Mensah (shown below being carried) struck as early in the 6th minute to grab all three points for the home side. Hasaacas had a goal disallowed. An indirect freekick in the 87th minute was converted but because it did not touch any player on its way in, ref A.S. Malik did not allow it to stand.

BECHEM 0-1 KOTOKO
The Reds recorded their third successive win after this 1-0 triumph to move into the top 4 on the table. Goal came from a thumping Frank Sarfo Gyamfi (shown in main photo) volley.

The defeat is also the first for the Hunters under Portuguese trainer Manuel Coelho Zacarias in all competitions. But for Kotoko's interim coach Michael Osei (above), it was a statement as even without their talismanic teenager Dauda Mohammed, they pulled through. Kotoko play Allies on Sunday.
EDUBIASE 0-1 ADUANA
Godfred Saka’s lone goal ensured Ogya maintained their inspiring recent form at the Len Clay Stadium.
INTER ALLIES 1-1 ASHGOLD
This was a relief for Bashir Hayford, who has a tough few weeks. Allies, though, had new coach Jimmy Cobblah trying to start his tenure with a bang. Fredrick Boateng and Dauda Mohammed were on target for Inter-Allies and the league champions respectively.

DREAMS 2-2 LIBERTY
A pulsating game, this. But Dreams FC could not make home advantage count at the Theater of Dreams in Dawu. Lawson Bekui’s brace for Dreams was cancelled by goals from Bernard Arthur and Latif Blessing. The 80th minute leveller was teenage Blessing's ninth of the season, and he's top joint scorer with Aduana's Yahaya Mohammed.
WA ALL STARS 1-1 WAFA
The Upper West side, who were second before kickoff, dropped points at home. Emmanuel Ocran’s first half strike for All Stars was cancelled by WAFA’s new Togolese signing Komlana Agbegneidan at the Malik Jabir Park.
DWARFS 0-0 BEREKUM CHELSEA
Ebusua still lie bottom with 10 points.
