The much-anticipated 'Guide to Schools' magazine was launched at the new Olympiad Educentre in Accra on Friday, 27 December 2024.

This magazine, featuring 100 of the top provite schools in Ghana seeks to serve as an invaluable tool for educators, parents, and students alike, providing insightful information and guidance on various educational topics.

'Guide to Schools' magazine is a culmination of weary days and sleepless nights of collaboration and research, tweaking and fine-tuning among schools, parents and experts in the education space.

The publication is envisioned to satisfy the longing of parents and students for a resource material that offers a deeper dive into the Ghanaian educational landscape.

“This guide has come at an opportune time where parents are looking for best-fit schools based on a certain criteria. The Guide empowers parents (and students) to make school decisions backed by relevant data,” Olympiad Academy CEO, Abel Acquaye who came up with the idea said.

The Guide now helps them to sift through the offerings and make an informed choice,” education consultant Anis Haffar added.

Speaking briefly about the conception to fruition phases of this novel project, Abel Acquaye disclosed that the edtech, data, and research arm of the ADTP/GOA, Africa Schools Online, was responsible for the production of the project.

He added that ‘Guide to Schools’ features 100 of the top international schools in Ghana, and admonished families to make the 'Guide to Schools' a part and parcel of their essential items.

Abel also lauded the resourcefulness and resilience of the team that put the magazine together and assured families of more innovative projects on education in the coming days.
