Afrobeats superstar Davido has got fans emotional after revealing that one of his newborn twins looks exactly like his late son, Ifeanyi.
In a recent sit-down with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, the singer opened up about life after the heartbreaking loss of Ifeanyi in 2022, and how the birth of his twins in 2023 brought a sense of healing.
“The boy looks just like my son that passed. It is scary. It’s like literally him,” Davido said, admitting that he and his wife, Chioma, often feel like their son came back to them.
“We’re like, ‘No, it’s him. He came back,’ he added.
He described losing Ifeanyi as the darkest time of his life, forcing him to step away from the spotlight to focus on healing and family.
But life took a beautiful turn in October 2023, when Davido and Chioma welcomed twins; a boy and a girl, and the resemblance to Ifeanyi left everyone stunned.
“To come back from that and be blessed with twins… it just shows God is real,” Davido added.
The singer says the experience has changed him deeply, making him more humble, more compassionate, and more driven to share love through his music.
