Seal and Heidi Klum's January split was a shock, after seven years of PDA and renewing their vows. Now, their divorce appears to be getting downright nasty.
Over the weekend, Seal made headlines for implying that his estranged supermodel wife is hooking up with her bodyguard Martin Kirsten. Afterwards, a rep for Seal issued a statement to People saying the singer "would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating on him while they were together."
"Rather," the rep said, "he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married."
On Friday, Seal shared his thoughts on recent photos of his supermodel ex and Kirsten vacationing in Sardinia to TMZ.
"That's what happens when two people separate, they move on and generally meet other people in their lives," he said.
He added, "Whilst I didn't expect anything better from him [the bodyguard], I would of thought that Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were."
Klum denied Seal's charge through her representative, saying, "It is sad that Seal has to resort to false accusations."
Seal, 49, and Klum 39, separated in January after being married for seven years. She filed for divorce in April. They have four children together, one from Klum's previous relationship, and a lot of money on the line: Klum's $70 million fortune will reportedly be a major factor in the divorce.
