Black Stars goalie Adam Larsen Kwarasey says he is aware he has to consistently churn out 100% performances  to be maintained as Ghana's first choice goal keeper.

Adam Larsen Kwarasey who started in the Black Stars 2-1 loss to the USA says although he is disappointed he didn't start in the Ghana-Germany game in Fortaleza, he is ready to work hard for the number one spot.

"Well I am disappointed but it just goes to say that I need to put up 100% every single time I am in post for the team to keep that place."

According to the Norway-based goalie, he is more concerned about the progress of the team and their output at the World Cup than his personal ambitions.

"Whether it’s Fatau or me in post what matters most is how to churn out good performances to make a big impact at this World Cup," the Stromsgodset goalie told Joy Sports in an interview at the Fortaleza Stadium.

In a separate interview on the variations in first choice goalkeeping for the Black Stars at the World Cup, Coach Kwasi Appiah said "both Kwarasey and Fatau Dauda are at equal level and have performed satisfactorily. Switching them in the first two games at the World Cup does not mean one is better than the other."

The 26-year-old shot stopper has had a great season at his Norwegian outfit where he has won back-to-back league titles.

Recent reports in the Scottish media strongly indicate that Coach Ronnie Delia who is in charge of Celtic could make a move for the goalie after Ghana's participation in Brazil 2014.

When asked about a possible move from the Norwegian outfit, Kwarsey said he was happy in Ghana but yet to take a firm decision to move.

"My family is here, my girlfriend is here so I am fine. I have not decided anything yet," he said.

Adam Kwarasey was in post when the Black Stars lost 0-1 to Holland in a pre-World Cup international friendly in Rotterdam.
