Renowned beat maker Ephraim Music has revealed that he has now taken a more formal approach to his work after enduring a lot of disappointment from artistes he produced music for.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz Ephraim said that when he started making beats, he did it for the passion and did not care too much about whether he was going to be paid or not.
However, the experienced beatmaker said some of the artistes he produced beats for are yet to show any gratitude for his work, forcing him to become more contractual in his dealings with artistes.
He added that there have been several instances where he produced beats for artistes and never received a dime in return.
"They have done that to me several times. You put in your hard work and then when the song hits that's all," he said.

Ephraim said that he now considers various factors before producing a beat for an artist.
"Most of the artists I started working with did not have money. It started like brother brother. But now eye clear."
Ephraim told Andy Dosty that he now signs split sheets and other agreements to ensure that he receives what he is due after every production.
He however admits that even though he did some of the works voluntarily, he expected the artistes to show some appreciation after the songs become hits.
Ephraim singled Rapper Opanka as one of the few artists who always shows appreciation after a production.
According to him, he always appreciates him because he is one of the few people who understands the game.
Ephraim Music has engineered several hit songs including, 'Sex Machine; by Ruff and Smooth, 'Always on my Mind' and 'Bra' all of which featured on Sarkodie's Mary Album released in 2015.
