Musician Kofi Kinaata is poised to bring 'Made in Taadi' to fruition this year.
The rapper said his failure to make the event happen left his fans disappointed and displeased over the years, therefore, he has plans to change that this year.
He said, "As for this year by hook or crook, the event must come on because my fans were not happy with me last year.”
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, he explained that even if he does not get sponsorship for the event he would use his investments to organize the event.
“Even when I don’t get sponsorship, I pay for the cost of flight, and accommodation of musicians who travel from Accra to come and perform in Takoradi.”
He explained that there have been times when he cancelled shows that would give him profit to organize Made in Taadi and sometimes run at a loss for putting up the convert.
“I sometimes cancel shows that will give me a lot of money to organize Made is Taadi. And I sometimes run at a loss.”
Despite the loss, he revealed that it brings him fulfilment anytime he organises the event because it makes his fans happy.
He finally added that because the concert is free, all the artists who perform during the event do not charge him.
However, he offers them tokens at the close of the event to thank them for their support.
“The event is a free show. Artists who come and perform also don’t charge me. However, at the end of the event, I give them a small token to thank them.”
