Hitz FM has officially launched its flagship outdoor sporting event, ‘Rep Ur Jersey’, ahead of this year’s edition scheduled for May 30, 2026 at the Legon Sports Stadium.
The event, launched on March 17, 2026 at the Palms by Eagles Event Centre, is expected to bring together football fans for a day-long celebration culminating in the grand finale of the UEFA Champions League.
This year’s event will run from 12 pm until late, with the Hitz and Joy Sports teams joining fans to watch the final match.
The build-up to May 30 will feature Champions League quizzes, giveaways and a special show every Thursday from 3 pm to 4 pm.
Programmes Manager for Hitz FM, Kwadwo Ampofo, popularly known as DJ Black, expressed excitement about the upcoming event and urged the public to get involved.
Speaking on Hitz FM, he said: “This year we’re bringing more fireworks. It’s been launched and we’re expecting the usual excitement around it. This is football and in Ghana football is the second religion”.
“This year we’re bringing more fun, we’re bringing more football teams and of course the big screening of the finale is something that everybody’s looking forward,” he added.
