Radio, TV and social media are dominated by studio produced genres of music, afrobeat, hiplife, dancehall, you name it!
But your favourite mid-morning show, Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM, is taking out the old and bringing in the new with a live performance of some of your favourite songs on air but with a twist.
On today’s live show, Cosmopolitan Mix brings you the Legon Palm Wine band, which infuses the palm wine sound into any music they touch, making it exquisitely refreshing.
The five-member group are graduates from the University of Ghana’s Department of Music.
With Eric Sunu Doe playing the Prempremsiwa, Samuel Agyeman on the guitar, Akwei Brown playing the drum, Albert Kwame Owusu and Seth Kpodo slaying the vocals music, the group gives music a different perspective.
